さて、先先週末は３日連続で少しづつ私の誕生日をお祝いして頂きました。
金曜日当日。夫が抱えて帰って来てくれた白にほんのりピンクのあじさいの鉢植え。
その後、いつもの近所の地ビール屋へ。お店からもデザートをサービスして頂いちゃった。
The weekend before last weekend was my birthday celebration weekend. Actual day was on Friday but we booked a dinner on Saturday and family gathering was arranged on Sunday, so it was whole weekend. On Friday, my husband brought that hydrangea back with him for me, and took me to the nearby craft beer restaurant for casual dinner. And they served us a free desert for my birthday.
土曜日の夕方はディナーを予約してあったスチーブストンへ。
We went to Steveston for my birthday dinner on Saturday.
まずはフィーシャーマンズワーフへ。漁船が沢山停泊していて、取り立てのシーフードをそのまま船上から販売しています。私達はこのエビの大きい方を３パウンド（1.3kgくらい）を＄２０で買いました。
We went to fisherman's wharf first, and got those beautiful, fresh shrimps for 3 pounds for $20.
そしてレストランへ。実は予約していた（夫が）レストランは二人共あまり気に入らなく、まだ時間が早かったので、他の良さそうなレストランのテーブルを待つ事に。お天気が良くなって来たので、パティオのテーブルを頼み、１時間程町を散策しているとレストランから電話が。戻ってみると、なんと一番良いテーブル（私としては）が用意されていました。
The restaurant where originally booked by my hubby wasn't good as we expected so we didn't spend so long there. We asked for a patio table in another nicer restaurant. And while we were exploring the town for a hour, we got a call from the restaurant for a best patio table!

オーダーしたお料理は、ボンゴレパスタとアヒツナサラダ、枝豆。
ビールは地元、リッチモンドのマイクロブリュワーからIPA。これが大ヒット。
全部美味しかったですよ。シーフードは開発中の夫には初のボンゴレ。楽しめた様で良かったです。
Food we had were...Spaghetti Vongole, Ahi tuna salad, and Edamame. Beer was fantastic IPA from local craft beer in Richmond.
と言う事で、そのリチモンド、地元のクラフトビール屋へ立ち寄って帰る事に。
So we decided to stop by the brewer.
日本の白桃のピルスナーがシーズン限定で出ていたので、頂きました。
味はたださっぱり系ですが、桃の香りが凄かった！
I had a Japanese white beach pilsner. That taste was very light and not so characteristic but the aroma was crazy!

翌日の日曜日は弟の家でランチパーティーでした。姪っ子の２歳のお誕生日当日、
そして夫が５日、私が１５日と７月３人のお誕生会です。
Sunday was my niece's 2nd birthday, and also my husband's and mine were in July so we had a family birthday lunch party at my brother's.
お料理好きな一家なので、食べ物はとても豊で美味！
The families are good at cooking so food was plenty and yummy as well.
この時期は毎年、義理妹（弟妻）のご両親と姉家族もカナダに訪ねて来ているので、大人数でお祝いです。ご両親両方とも日本人ですがベトナムから、義理妹姉夫婦は香港からで彼女の夫は香港人、義理妹の兄夫婦はカナダご近所で、彼の妻は韓国の血を引き、我が夫はカナダ人。もし彼の家族も加われるのなら西ヨーロッパとカナダからぞろぞろ、と成るはず。国際的で楽しい家族です。今年も本当に楽しかった！感謝につきます。
In this season of summer, my brother's wife's family was visiting Canada from all over the world? lol, well, were from Vietman and Hong kong, so we can have a big, fun family party. If my husband side family could have been with us, who were in Europe and other parts of Canada, how international my families are! Anyways, it was great family gathering as well in this year too. Very thankful!
