The last story of the trip.
Said good bye to my husband's mom in East Coulee, we started to drive back for 6 hours and then stopped by Canmore, AB. It was another fashionable ski resort town, like a smaller version of Banff. It was still in Alberta but it was in the rocky mountains.
It's not really seen in the picture but the town was actually packed by people.
We got in a nice cafe.
There were many interesting shops there.
Autumn leaves were pretty there.
We left Canmore to drive toward Kamloops BC, the last destination for us before home.
On the way there, The sun was in and out, and the sunset right before Kamloops was such dramatic.
The rocks got setting sunshine and glowing.
The view from our hotel room in Kamloops. Thompson river.
Our hotel room was like this.
Our dinner was like this, at a pun in downtown Kamloops. It was very good as well.
We were finally heading back to our sweet home in the next late morning. About 2 hours more driving left. The weather was so dramatic on the way as blue sky to stormy hard rain.
So we could see such a beautiful rainbow.
The road trip which we drove about 2200km was over. It wasn't totally new for me to take that route but it was always amazing and I was fascinated by the great Canadian nature as well.
My husband's mom who wasn't in good condition for a while before look better than I thought, and she was excited for our arrival. That made us feel relief.
It was a great trip. I am thankful.

And for some souvenir for myself...They were not valuable fossils, nor beautiful crystals, but this pebble which nicely fits in my pam...because it is like a kitty to me! lol.
And another, a bunch of wild white sage which we picked on the side of the road when we left East Coulee. I hang them (right) to dry, right beside of my purple sage and lavender. It it used by native Canadian to cleanse the air and stuff. I would use them sometime to welcome good spirits into our house.
