また言うけど今日も良い天気！これ、この季節のメトロバンクーバーでは貴重な事なのでつい。温かいうちに夕食用の買い物に行ってしまおうと思い、そしてあまりにも景色が奇麗なので、もう１ブロック歩いて川の写真をいつもと違う所から。カヌーを下ろせる場所やピクニックテーブルの場所も確認。これからが楽しい季節ですね。
I'm going to say it again that it's a great weather today! I can't help saying so because it's precious here in Metro Vancouver in this season. I rushed to go out for grocery shopping while it's warm outside. I walked extra one block from a super market to see this beautiful view. And I made sure where nice picnic tables and a canoe launching place were. An exciting season is coming soon!
さて、今日は嬉しい事にキッチンカウンターが設置されました。引っ越したのが年末の事。夫が自分でキッチンキャビネットを入れるのにはそれなりの時間がかかり、カウンターをオーダーしてから２週間後にやっとサイズを測りに来てくれて、そこから３週間でできあがり、のはずが、何かの手違いであと３週間と言われ．．．もういいや、と思っていた所へやってきました。１０時過ぎから２時間くらいかかって取り付けられた白いクォーツのカウンター！まだ配管も繋がっていないし、壁のタイルや棚もこれからだけど、とにかく嬉しい！工事の人もぐちゃぐちゃの家の中を見まわしながら「一歩前進だね〜」って。ちゃんとしたビフォー／アフターの写真は出来上がった時に。
In this morning, our kitchen countertop was finally installed. We moved into this house the end of last year. And It took for a while that my husband installed kitchen cabinets by himself. And then it took 2 weeks to get a guy to measure our counter and he said that it would be 3 weeks to manufacture the countertop. It was supposed to be the end of Feb but there was something wrong with the process. We were told that we had to wait extra 3 more weeks. sigh. But it came today! yay! Installation took 2 hours and here's our white quartz countertop!! Well, plumbing hasn't connected yet and back splash and open shelving are coming later on but I'm ecstatic now anyways. The installation guy said "One way closer!" as he was looking around our unfinished, messy house. Indeed.
I will post real before and after photos when it's completed.
