It's cloudy today but you know, it's 16 degrees outside! No wonder I feel so warm in my office.
さて、買った物と作ったもの。作る物はもちろん、買う物も吟味して、本当に必要でしかもテイストが合うもののみにしたい物です。沢山物を持たないで暮らす事が理想なので。
Well, I'm going to talk about things I bought and I made. I should carefully acquire unified taste of things which is truly necessary for my life. Having minimum belongings is ideal for me.
これはお友達のお誕生日ギフト。普段はどちらかと言えばカジュアルで控えめな色味の装いの彼女。でも実はラブリーな物が大好きなのはお見通し（笑）。可愛い女性なのです。そんな彼女にちょとラブリーでガーリーな物を。
I made those pair of earrings for my friend birthday gift. She usually dresses modest in style and colour but I've known that she actually likes something girly and lovely. She actually is very adorable person in inside and out. So hope those are perfect on her.
いつもの様に、デザインを決めるための試行錯誤をしている時に生まれるいくつかのジャンク。でもちょっと形を整えて、せっかくなので自分用に。紙を挟むクリップみたいだけど、普段使いには良いかな、と思って。
Another spin off from the gift making. When I decide design, I have to try sometimes and make some errors. Here they are. But if I fix them a little farther, sometimes they become good enough for casual use. They look like paper clips though. lol.
他にご注文頂いたジュエリーを作るのに緑色のビーズを探していました。近所のビースやジュエリーパーツのお店でこの２粒だけを買おうとしたら、お金いらないから持って行って、って．．．確かにおっしゃるようにほんの数十セントなんですが、まぁなんと。でもやっぱり村暮らしは温かくていいなぁ。ありがたいです。思わずオーナーお２人にハグしちゃいました。
I was looking for a green bead for a necklace commission. I went to a nearby beads shop and picked those two. At the casher, the owners said that I could take them for free because they cost only couple of ten cents. Well, that was true but it was still unusual offer to me. I felt warmth of village life . lol. I gave a hug for each owners by way of my appreciation.
このお皿は衝動買い。でも本当に私の好みと改装中のお家のテイストにピッタリなので良しとします。キッチンが出来た暁には、白いサブウエイタイルのバックスプラッシュ（キッチンカウンターやシンク、ストーブ上の壁）にキャビネットの代わりに木の棚を取り付け、白いカントリー調の食器類を並べたいのです。時々色を入れるとしたら薄い水色、と決めています。
I impulsively bought those plates actually. Bad! However, the taste of them is perfect in my living concept. So I am good with that. I am planing to have a white subway tile back splash and wooden open shelving instead of upper cabinets on top of it. Then I am displaying mainly white dishes and bowls or so tastefully on the shelves. And I'm welcoming some pale blue items for accents.
ただいま工事現場の様な我が家にスリッパは必需品。埃っぽいので、しっかりしたものを見つけて大満足。温かくなったとはいえ、足下の冷えは大敵です。デザインもバッチリ！
Our house is still like construction site and very dusty so nice slippers are necessity. I'm satisfied to find good pair of thick slippers. Even it's getting warmer now I still want my feet warm enough. And design of them are excellent!
これは昨日、旦那様をスーパーマーケットに送り出したらついでに買って来てくれた、かわええ〜チューリップ。黄色の様なピンクのようなオレンジの様な。
I send my hubby to a super market last night and he came back with these tulips in his arms. How pretty flowers are they! (And how sweet mu hubby was. lol )Pink-ish, yellow-ish and orange-ish What a complex colour.
最後はアボカド！家は本当に良くアボカドを食べるんです。で、先日、種は水栽培できるって知ってやってみました。早く芽がでないかな〜。
Lastly, avocado pits are here. We eat avocado a lot. And I've heard that avocado pits easily sprout in a jar with full of water like this. Will see.
